Yvonne has another installment of Is It Worth a Babysitter after she visits a trendy Santa Monica restaurant. Sarah and Yvonne ponder what it's like to work at home when the kids are home for the summer.

It's hard to believe that we're on episode 25 of the MomsLA podcast. In this episode, I talk about how I overcame my fear of being nude (I'm a nevernude) and went to a spa where everyone was naked! But first, Sarah and I talk about how it can sometimes be overwhelming to be the parent in charge of schedules and pickups. (The conversation started after I commented on an episode of She Podcasts.) And we have another installment of Don't be That Mom.

Fun episode this week thanks to Sarah and her recap of Comic-Con. We also talk about inspiration, Harper Lee, and my not-so-fun week last week.

In this episode, Sarah talks about her fun moms night out seeing Magic Mike. (It's just like you thought it would be.) And I talk about medical insurance (almost as fun as Magic Mike!). We also talk about the Queen Mary and California's new Vaccination law. And if you're new to the podcast, we tell you a little bit about what we do at MomsLA.

First, I want to apologize for no episode last week. Sarah and I were at a conference and it seemed like there would be plenty of time to podcast, but unfortunately there was not. So we recap the last two weeks and talk about roadtrips. Sarah went on a college road trip to check out colleges for her son and I went to my husband's family reunion.

Next Sarah and I debate when it's appropriate to jump in and help your kids and when you let them get their own cereal for breakfast. And we have another "Don't be that Mom" except that it's a "DO" be that mom this week.
